We have three types of roles

Job Roles à
Role specific to Job. For e.g. à
Account payable specialist,

Abstract Roles à
Employee, Line Manager
Job Role and Abstract roles are also knows as
Enterprise roles.
3.
Duty Roles à
Grouping of some entitlements like ability
to run some report or see some UI.
è We can map them to Menu in R12.
è Duty
roles are not assigned directly to users
è Abstract
or Job Role inherits Duty role and thus entitlement is passed on to User.

create custom job and abstract roles.
